Quick Fix Service — $39
Have a sewing machine problem that might have a simple solution? A Quick Fix appointment provides up to 30 minutes of hands-on troubleshooting to identify and, when possible, correct the issue.
$39 • Up to 30 minutes
Payment is due before troubleshooting begins and is non-refundable. The $39 fee covers the technician’s time and expertise and is due whether or not the issue can be resolved within the 30-minute appointment. A successful repair is not guaranteed.
Quick Fix troubleshooting is limited to adjustments and corrections that can be performed without removing the machine’s covers or housing. The needle plate may be removed as needed for inspection, cleaning, or troubleshooting.
If the issue requires internal access, extensive disassembly, parts replacement, or additional diagnostic or repair time, a full service may be recommended.
If troubleshooting determines that a full service is needed, the $39 Quick Fix fee will be applied toward the applicable service fee when the machine is dropped off for full service within 14 days of the Quick Fix appointment.
Machines I Service
I currently service domestic home sewing machines, including most mechanical, computerized, and single-needle embroidery models.
I do not service chain stitch machines, sergers, overlockers, industrial or commercial machines, blind hemmers, multi-needle or upright embroidery machines, or other specialty machines.
I do not repair software, firmware, programming, or electronic circuit board failures. If you’re unsure whether your machine’s issue is mechanical or electronic, feel free to contact me before scheduling service.
Machines installed in cabinets should be removed prior to drop-off. If you need assistance or are unable to transport your machine, pickup service may be available by appointment.
