Getting Started

Service Details
What to expect during service, including timing, scope, and available options.
A standard service includes cleaning, lubrication, inspection, adjustment (if needed) and a test sew of your sewing machine to ensure smooth and reliable operation. Any additional repairs or parts will be discussed before proceeding. All services will include a fresh Schmetz size 12 Universal needle and a new bobbin that is correct for your machine.
Typical turnaround time is about 1–2 weeks, depending on the machine, and if any repairs or parts are needed. You will be notified if additional time is required.
I’m not offering scheduled Quick Fix appointments right now, but you’re still welcome to bring your machine in.
If the issue is something simple, I can often address just that specific problem without a full service, and pricing will be based on the work performed.
If the machine needs more in-depth service, I’ll explain what I find and review your options with you before moving forward. An appointment is required.
Bringing Your Machine In
How to prepare your machine and what to bring to ensure a smooth drop-off.
Please bring your machine in as-is, along with the power cord and foot pedal (no accessories, please). There’s no need to clean or take anything apart beforehand—this allows for an accurate evaluation and prevents accidental damage. If your machine has been previously disassembled or partially repaired, please let us know at drop-off.
Yes—most machines can be safely removed from their cabinet, and we strongly recommend bringing in the machine head only, as cabinets cannot be accommodated in the shop.
If you are unsure how to remove your machine, we are happy to guide you through the process.
If removal or transport is not possible, pickup service is available by appointment for the machine head only (cabinets are not transported). The first 5 miles are included, with a fee of $0.70 per mile (round trip) beyond that.
Please contact us with your address for an accurate quote and scheduling. Payment is required prior to return delivery.
